Test Trading opportunities at St George’s Market
Opportunity for businesses to test trade their products or promote their services at St George’s Market.
Businesses must be:
- a Belfast City Council business support programme participant
- in business for less than two years and must not currently have a trading premises
- based in Belfast
Belfast City Council is offering test trading opportunities at St George’s Market to those receiving support through its business start-up and growth support programmes.
This will give businesses starting out or those who have been in business less than two years and currently do not have a permanent trading premises the opportunity to test trade their products or promote their services at St George’s Market.
Taking part is free of charge and there is the opportunity to test trade six times.
Benefits to businesses:
- trial product(s) or service(s) at an established market
- gain feedback from customers and visitors
- help to refine sales and marketing approach
- reach a broader audience
- have peer support
- be referred onto the St George’s Market trader database where businesses will be notified of any casual opportunities to trade
If businesses meet the eligibility criteria and would like the opportunity to test trade, they should email economicdevelopment@belfastcity.gov.uk to express their interest.
