Are you a Black entrepreneur seeking support to grow your business? Join the Barclays Black Founder Accelerator

Barclays Black Founder Accelerator is a programme aimed at promoting diversity in entrepreneurship and highlighting businesses led by Black founders.

This initiative is delivered in partnership with Foundervine, an award-winning social enterprise that helps entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities start their own businesses.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the programme, businesses should meet the following criteria:

  • use digital, technology to operate or deliver their value proposition
  • ready to scale
  • be based in the UK
  • at least one founder (or C-suite) self-identifies as Black or of Black heritage
  • be available to attend all the masterclasses over the 12 weeks

What to expect

The programme includes:

  • a series of 12 expert-led business strategy masterclasses, focusing on topics such as defining your value proposition, hiring talent, sales strategy, marketing, intellectual property
  • mentoring and coaching from scaleup experts
  • access to business and networking events
  • the opportunity to showcase your business to potential clients and investors at the end of the programme
