Basecamp Boston 2024 open call

Basecamp Boston 2024 is the third iteration of the Catalyst programme, supported by the Department for the Economy. Its aim is to strengthen ties between Northern Ireland businesses and the US to accelerate growth.

The initiative connects companies from Northern Ireland with established experts and experienced executives in the US market - providing the insights they need to scale their business.

Who should apply?

The programme is open to innovation-driven enterprises from Northern Ireland that:

• have a product ready to enter the US market*
• are eager to develop a go-to-market strategy
• have a budget to implement US expansion over the next two years

* Life science companies require clinical trials before going to market. In these cases, proof of viability of the offering and indication of continued development over the last three years will suffice.

The cohort will consist of new companies and returning companies in 2024.

The Catalyst team will work with you to identify your needs and connect you with the appropriate mentors to help you accelerate your path into the US market.

As well as facilitating valuable connections, the programme can also help with skills development offering insights into key areas such as pricing and go-to-market strategies. By participating, you will establish a strong foundation for successful market penetration and sustained growth.

There will be an open call for this opportunity. Businesses will be able to apply online for a chance to participate.
