Be the Business free mentoring support

Businesses with at least one employee can access mentoring and online support to help improve their performance

Who is eligible?

Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) with at least one employee based anywhere in the UK. This programme best fits business leaders of UK businesses with at least one year of trading and three full time employees, including the owner.

How does the programme work?

Be the Business is a UK Government supported initiative that provides:

• free business mentors to act as a sounding board and support business leaders with challenges and opportunities
• free online support offering inspiration from similar businesses, information, advice and tools

The mentoring support is available over 12 weeks or 12 months.

12 week programme

The 12 week programme focuses on shorter-term business goals and challenges with the aim of meeting with your mentor once a week.

12 month programme

The 12 month programme focuses on the long-term growth and development of your business with the aim of meeting your mentor every 4-6 weeks. Your mentor will help you to develop your business strategy and build your leadership skills.
