Business Watch Initiative for Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon
This scheme aims to prevent business crime and increase engagement in the business community
Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council has launched the Business Watch Initiative which aims to increase the prevention of business crime and reduce the fear of crime in the community.
Bringing together local businesses, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI), and Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP), the Business Watch Initiative operates in a similar way to a Neighbourhood Watch scheme.
It is run for, and by, members of the business community, and is supported by the PSNI and the PCSP which makes it easier to share information about criminal, anti-social and suspicious behaviour in the local area to prevent crime.
