Established by Innovate UK, the Catapult Network provides businesses with access to expertise and facilities within the world-leading technology and innovation Catapult centres.

There are currently nine Catapult centres spanning over 40 locations across the UK:

• Energy Systems
• High Value Manufacturing
• Medicines Discovery
• Offshore Renewal Energy
• Satellite Applications

These centres offer businesses access to:

• cutting-edge R&D infrastructure, including hubs, laboratories, testbeds, factories and offices
• technical experts so that they can test, demonstrate and improve their products, processes, services and technologies

The centres also have significant engagement across the world, including within European programmes and bilateral initiatives such as those financed through the Global Challenges Research Fund. They can help businesses internationalise, while also developing their own capability and attracting investment to the UK.

Who can access the Catapult Network?

Catapult centres are open to all businesses, large and small, wishing to undertake research and development activities to get high potential ideas to market, fuel business growth and increase productivity.

The centres work with businesses across a wide range of sectors, such as manufacturing, space, health, digital, energy, transport, telecoms, the urban environment and many others.
