Call for manufacturing businesses to collaborate to improve digitalisation and address the green transition challenge.

The second iteration of Digi Manufacturing has been launched and is looking for SME manufacturers to get involved.

The Digi Manufacturing 2.0 project is a cross border partnership between The Irish Digital Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing Cluster (IDEAM) and Manufacturing NI, with support from InterTradeIreland’s Synergy programme.

Digi Manufacturing 2.0 aims to create and enhance new cross-border strategic value chains and enhance the green uptake between both IDEAM Cluster and Manufacturing NI advanced manufacturing SMEs, to:

  • bring like-minded SMEs together on a cross-border basis through strong cluster collaboration
  • establish and create new business opportunities
  • unlock and ignite the green transition of the all-island advanced manufacturing ecosystem with a particular emphasis on helping SMEs achieve increased productivity, competitiveness, and internationalisation objectives

At least 40 SMEs will benefit from:

  • collaboration opportunities to create new strategic value chains with the completion of data-driven energy efficiency assessments
  • financial support for the growth of companies creating new linkages
  • industry case study visits to comprehend practical examples of how digitalisation and net zero are being embraced

To sign up as a participating SME, you can email mary@manufacturingni.org to learn more about the project.
