Discover AI solutions for manufacturing decarbonisation
How can AI help decarbonise UK manufacturing?
Digital Catapult is hosting the next instalment of the AI for Decarbonisation's Virtual Centre of Excellence (ADViCE) webinar series.
The session will take place virtually on Monday 20 May 2024, from midday to 1:30pm.
The webinar will explore the role of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in addressing the pressing need to decarbonise manufacturing processes. Focus will be on key challenges such as:
- the design of low-carbon manufacturing processes
- integration of onsite renewables and storage solutions
- carbon accounting and modelling
With manufacturing contributing nearly 40% of global CO2 emissions, decarbonising inputs and processes in this sector is crucial for mitigating climate change.
This webinar aims to showcase innovative AI-driven solutions that can support the transition to net zero emissions. It will be of particular interest to potential AI adopters within the manufacturing sector who are exploring decarbonisation solutions as part of the full manufacturing process, especially regarding inputs.
The webinar may also interest:
- AI developers and innovators
- investment community
- local government and regulatory authorities
- academia and research centres
- ADViCE ecosystem contributors
Panel discussions will encourage collaboration among stakeholders to drive sustainable solutions forward, and address the challenges that hinder AI adoption in manufacturing.
