Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is supporting the NI Executive to roll out the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Strategy, including funding opportunities for organisations in the borough through the new EVAWG Change Fund.

This fund supports organisations working to prevent and challenge the attitudes, behaviours and culture that can lead to violence against women and girls that can often happen in plain sight.

Programme details

Through the EVAWG Change Fund, Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is offering tiered funding of up to £25,000 to help mobilise grassroots action, support innovative delivery and maximise the impact of community-led initiatives.

Grants of up to £5,000 (Tier 1), £15,000 (Tier 2) or £25,000 (Tier 3) are available to deliver projects that will help to change the attitudes, behaviours and culture of violence against women and girls in Mid and East Antrim.

Eligibility

The EVAWG Change Fund is open to a wide range of organisations across community, sports, arts, and faith-based sectors to help them raise awareness and help end violence against women and girls across the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area.

Completed applications must be submitted online by 5pm on Friday 9 May 2025.
