Financial assistance for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors to help prevent violence against women and girls

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council is supporting the NI Executive to roll out the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWAG) Strategy with two funding opportunities.

Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Grant 2025/2026

The aim of this programme is to equip the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors to prevent violence against women and girls, and to drive society-wide action so everyone understands what violence against women and girls is and knows how to prevent it.

There are three tiers of funding available:

  • Tier 1 - grants between£1,000 and £5,000
  • Tier 2 - grants between £5,001 and £15,000
  • Tier 3 - grants between £15,001 and up to £25,000

Projects must not commence before 7 April 2025 with delivery until 31 March 2026.

Applications close at midday on Friday 7 February 2025.

Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Momentum Fund

This expression of interest invites constituted community and voluntary organisations who are currently delivering activity aligned to the outcomes of the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls strategy to apply for up to a maximum of £5000.

This fund is for delivery taking place from February to March 2025 only.

Applications must be submitted by midday on Thursday 13 February 2025.
