Innovate UK Business Connect has launched the 2024 Faraday Battery Challenge Investment Readiness Programme.

Up to 15 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the battery sector will be selected to participate, aiming to accelerate their investment journeys.

This programme, now in its fourth iteration, has a strong track record, with 90% of past participants achieving positive outcomes or raising capital.

It offers a comprehensive 12-week series of workshops and one-on-one mentoring sessions. Participants will refine their investor pitches, enhance their understanding of the funding landscape, and prepare robust investment materials. Expert coaching will be provided regular interactions with investors to facilitate networking and fundraising.

Eligible applicants include UK-based SMEs involved in battery technologies for transport and energy storage, spanning the entire battery value chain. The programme emphasises diversity and encourages applications from under-represented groups and female entrepreneurs. Previous participants of the 2021-2023 programmes are ineligible.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, 22 August 2024.
