Go Succeed: Small Food Producer Programme
Support for small food businesses with one-to-one mentoring support and skills development workshops
The Go Succeed Small Food Producer Programme is for small food manufacturing businesses who want to grow their business through improved sales, marketing or brand development.
Mentoring support
Through one-to-one mentoring support, businesses will be matched with an experienced mentor and will receive up to 21 hours of highly practical business support focused on addressing the specific sales/marketing/brand development needs of their business.
Skills Development Workshops
There will be three online group workshops taking place during March 2024. These are tailored to the food industry and designed to enhance skills and improve knowledge in key ideas.
Workshop details:
- Building a brilliant food brand - Tuesday 5 March 2024, 2pm to 4pm
- Selling into retail - Tuesday 12 March 2024, time to be confirmed
- Digital Marketing on a tight budget for the food industry - Tuesday 26 March 2024, time to be confirmed
Eligibility criteria
Small food businesses taking part in this programme must:
- be trading with under 250 employees
- be based in one of the following council areas: Ards and North Down; Armagh Banbridge and Craigavon; Belfast City Council; Fermanagh and Omagh; Lisburn and Castlereagh; Mid Ulster; Newry, Mourne and Down
- not already be receiving support through the Go Succeed business support service
Businesses should register for this programme by 3pm on Friday 1 March 2024.
