Get involved in shaping qualifications and apprenticeships to ensure they reflect the skills needed for the retail industry.
People 1st International is undertaking a review of existing National Occupational Standards (NOS) for retail in the UK and would like to invite employers, businesses, and individuals to participate.
The NOS are developed in consultation with employers and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that they are truly reflective of the competencies required for the successful completion of each task at the heart of job roles and are used to inform qualifications and apprenticeships.
Why should I participate?

How do I get involved?
You can choose the level of engagement that you are comfortable with:
- Join an expert working group to directly influence the outcome of the retail NOS review.
- Participate in an online survey to give feedback on recommended amendments to the existing retail NOS.
- Be kept up to date with developments.
