Digital Sales Supports which are designed to help your business improve and expand its online presence in the cross-border market and beyond
InterTradeIreland has launched new Digital Sales Supports which are designed to help your business improve and expand its online presence in the cross-border market and beyond.
Supports include Digital Sales Advanced which offers up to 20 days of fully funded consultancy support. Businesses may nominate up to a maximum of three digital support modules that would help stimulate cross-border trade growth within their business.
Support and advice can be tailored to suit your company and is available in the following areas:
- Operational e-commerce
- Cyber security and data compliance
- Process improvement
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
- Conversation Rate Optimisation (CRO)
- Analytics and measurement
- Recruiting digital staff
- Influencer marketing
- Website development
- Cross-border digital strategy
- Paid social ads
- Google ads
- Email marketing
- Social media
- Content creation
- Other digital support
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, participating businesses must:
- Be an SME with less than 250 staff.
- Have a minimum annual turnover of £150,000 / €175,000 and not exceeding £40 million / €50 million per annum.
- Be an indigenous business registered in Ireland or Northern Ireland.
- Be active in the manufacturing or tradable services sectors. By tradable services, InterTradeIreland requires the business service to be delivered in the cross-border market, and not just to attract customers from the cross-border market to their service business in the home market (see list below of ineligible sectors).
- Have a successful trading history and proven track record in their home market (i.e. minimum 24 months satisfactory trading history).
- Have a set of annual financial accounts available for upload and assessment (If these are more than 6 months old you will also need to supply management accounts including profit & loss statements and supporting balance sheet from the end date of your annual accounts to a period within 6 months of applying for the programme).
- Have an established website presence with 12+ months analytics data.
- Have cross-border sales in the opposite jurisdiction of less than 30% of the company turnover in the last/current financial year and have a clearly identified opportunity for cross-border trade.
- Ensure that increasing cross-border exports is the primary focus of the project.
- Be able to complete the Digital Sales Advanced project within a maximum 6 months of approval.
- Be able to dedicate a staff member to participate in the project for a minimum 20 hours over a 3-6 month period (this may increase to 40 hours dependent on support requirements).
