The Investment Readiness Programme, part of the Made Smarter Innovation Sustainability Accelerator, is designed for businesses developing cleantech solutions for the UK manufacturing sector.
The programme aims to increase their investment readiness and accelerate business growth by offering tailored support to help participants:
- navigate the investment landscape
- secure research and funding opportunities
- boost their market presence
This initiative not only supports individual businesses but also contributes to the broader goal of achieving net zero emissions and driving sustainable growth in the manufacturing sector.
Who should apply?
The programme is open to businesses new to the Made Smarter movement, as well as those businesses that previously received help from Made Smarter funding.
To be eligible, your business must be:
- registered and active in the UK
- looking to raise investment in the next six to12 months
- looking to grow their business in the next six to12 months
- developing sustainable tech solutions for the manufacturing sector
Programme benefits
Successful applicants will receive:
- strategic guidance and investment readiness support
- £5,000 cash funding towards programme completion
- diagnostic sessions to assess commercial and strategic needs
- tailored support for product, technical, business planning, and marketing strategy
- opportunity to pitch to industry and investors at the showcase event
How to apply?

You can apply via the Digital Catapult platform (registration required).
The deadline for applications has been extended until 11:59pm, Sunday 21 July 2024.
Potential applicants can book a 15-minute time slot with the Digital Catapult team for 1:1 conversation around eligibility, selection process, and application. Time slots are available between Monday 17 June and Friday 21 June 2024.
