The Minority Recognition Awards NI aim to celebrate outstanding achievements within the minority business community.
In Northern Ireland, many minority businesses contribute to economic growth and play a significant role in overall prosperity.
Numerous entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds have overcome integration challenges. It is important to recognise and support the accomplishments of these minority businesses, which contribute to Northern Ireland's progress and diversity.
The awards ceremony will be on Friday 4 October at the Titanic Hotel, Belfast.
Award categories
There are 13 award categories including:
- Advancing Diversity & Inclusion Advocate
- Arts, Media & Advertising
- Business Person of the Year
- Customer Service
- Design & Fashion including Hair & Beauty
- Hospitality (Food, Restaurants & Takeaway)
- Inclusive Educator
- Inspiring Champion
- Outstanding Management
- Sports Person of the Year
- STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) including Healthcare, Transportation, Pharmaceutical, Research & Development
- Young Business Person of the Year
- Young Person in STEM
How to enter the awards
The awards are free to enter. Nominees can be entered in multiple categories, and nominations should be submitted online.
