Events to explore entrepreneurial support pathways for newcomer community members living in Belfast
The Newcomer Inclusion: Pathways to Enterprise Project is a research and consultation project, designed to inform and enhance future enterprise support for newcomers in the Belfast City Council area, including refugees, asylum seekers, and migrant communities.
A range of events are taking place to explore entrepreneurial support pathways for these newcomer communities to the Belfast City Council area.
Consultation sessions for support organisations
These virtual events are for the different stakeholders that work with newcomer communities:
- Wednesday 19 March 2025, 2pm to 4pm - enterprise organisations
- Thursday 27 March 2025, 2:30pm to 4:30pm - integration support organisations
- Friday 4 April 2025, 1:30pm to 3:30pm - all organisations
All organisations are invited to attend the event on Friday 4 April 2025, in addition to one of the other events. However, it is also acceptable if you can only attend one event.
Consultation sessions for newcomer community members
Small group, virtual and in-person consultation sessions for newcomer community members, including refugees, asylum seekers and migrants living in Belfast:
- Wednesday 19 March 2025, 7:30pm to 9:30pm - virtual session
- Tuesday 25 March 2025, 4pm to 6pm - virtual session
- Friday 4 April 2025, 10:30pm to 12:30pm - virtual session
- Wednesday 2 April 2025, 4pm to 6:30pm, GEMS Belfast
- Thursday 3 April 2025, midday to 2:30pm, 2 Royal Avenue
