These workshops will help employees to have the confidence to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and the PSNI are inviting retail and security staff to take part in free Safe Shop workshops.
Designed to protect staff, these workshops will help employees to have the confidence to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour.
Topics covered include:
- The power to prevent entry
- The power to remove from premises
- Identifying possible offenders
- Preventing incidents of crime
- The power to detain
The workshops are open to all businesses in the borough.
Workshop details
The workshops are taking place at the following locations:
- Coleraine Town Hall - Thursday 16 May 2024, 8:30 to 10am
- Ballymoney Town Hall - Thursday 16 May 2024, 5:30pm to 7pm
- Sheskburn House, Ballycastle - Wednesday 22 May 2024, 1:30pm to 3pm
- Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre, Limavady - Thursday 23 May 2024, 5:30pm to 7pm
