Programme supporting local SMEs in reducing their carbon emissions and adopting sustainable practices.
Ards and North Down Borough Council, in partnership with Carbonfit, have launched the Green Adaptation Programme (GAP) to support local SMEs in reducing their carbon emissions and adopting sustainable practices.
This programme, running to September 2025, is designed to equip businesses with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to achieve sustainability goals and thrive in a greener economy. It includes:
- expert-led workshops - join four sustainability workshops, including Carbon Literacy and more
- 1:1 mentoring sessions - get three days of tailored mentoring to develop your carbon reduction strategy
- comprehensive reports - your business will receive a Carbon Footprint Certificate and Action Plan
- access to carbonfit platform - get access to Carbonfit’s platform to measure, manage and analyse your emissions
GAP is open to SMEs located in the Ards and North Down Borough Council region with a single entity location and able to participate fully in the programme.
The deadline for applications is Friday 24 January 2025.
