Event uniting leaders, experts and communities to tackle climate change, sustainability, biodiversity and environmental preservation.

Derry City and Strabane District Council is hosting the Sustainable Climate Conference 2024, which will unite national leaders, policymakers, scientists, industry experts, and community leaders to address the pressing challenges presented by climate change, sustainability, biodiversity loss, and the preservation of our natural environment for the betterment of all citizens and communities.

The agenda is designed to foster collaboration and innovation:

Keynote sessions featuring thought leaders and visionaries in sustainability.
Panel discussions that delve into pressing environmental issues and potential solutions.
Interactive workshops aimed at driving actionable climate strategies.
Exhibiters will be showcasing the work happening on the ground in Derry and Strabane.

To address the significant challenges and obstacles that lie ahead, the council is asking communities, businesses, public sector and education to be involved and part of the dialogue.
