Thrive - SME Innovation Programme
Apply for InterTradeIreland's new programme, Thrive, designed to improve SME leaders' innovation skills and develop new relationships across the island of Ireland.
The Thrive SME Innovation Programme, an InterTradeIreland initiative, supports small and medium enterprises (SME) to grow and develop new relationships with businesses and university experts across the island of Ireland.
The programme is delivered in partnership with the University College Cork, Queens University Belfast, University of Galway and Technological University Dublin.
Each university will lead a full day of the All-Island programme, giving participants access to regional expertise and the chance to collaborate with businesses from all over Ireland.
Who can apply?
To be eligible for the Thrive - SME Innovation Programme, businesses should:
- be an SME with 5 to 249 full-time employees
- operate as a manufacturing or tradable services company based in Ireland (north or south)
- have a turnover between £50,000 and £40 million (or the euro equivalent)
- have a minimum of 12 months trading history
- demonstrate a commitment to innovation

As part of the programme, you will have the opportunity to:
- discover growth opportunities
- develop practical strategies for success
- conduct a competitive landscape analysis
- create a strategic roadmap for development
- perform an innovation audit
- develop a growth roadmap and implementation plan

To complement the programme, the Thrive Series webinars, open to the public, offer practical guidance on innovation and insights from industry experts.
