Warning for businesses to be aware of scam letters falsely claiming to be from Companies House.

Companies House has received a number of reports of suspicious letters claiming to be from them. The scam letter claims that you need to make payment for Enhanced Web Filing Access.

Companies House has issued a warning to not follow any instructions in this letter. Do not visit any webpage or QR code links and never pay any money into the bank account details shown in the letter. It is a scam.

What to do if you receive a suspicious letter

If you receive a suspicious letter claiming to be from Companies House you should contact Companies House immediately on Tel 0303 1234 500.
