Innovators grant competition for ethnic minorities in NI
Apply now for proof of concept grants
The Minorities Recognition Awards NI (MRANI) and Techstart Ventures have teamed up to launch the Innovators grant competition for ethnic minorities in Northern Ireland.
The collaboration offers entrepreneurial individuals from ethnic minority backgrounds, who are resident in Northern Ireland and have a novel business idea, a chance to apply for grant funding of up to £10,000 to further develop their ideas.
Multiple proof of concept grants are available.
Techstart Ventures will oversee the competition, helping entrepreneurs explore the viability and commercial potential of their innovative concepts.
As part of the competition, MRANI will run a pitch training session with the Ulster Bank Accelerator, taking place on Friday 21 June 2024 from 1pm to 3pm. For further information on this, contact MRANI directly at info@minorityawardsni.org.uk.
How to apply
The competition is now open for applications. You must complete the Techstart's Ethnic minority innovators grant competition application form to apply.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Tuesday 20 August 2024.
Winners will be announced on 4 October 2024 at the MRANI Awards night.
